Always The Road

Robyn Davidson's account of her 17000 mile trek across the Australian outback, "Tracks," is one of those books that found me. I've read and listened to it so many times that often when I close my eyes - I see that powerful land within me.

Swimming Upstream

Protea-like Bloomage

Rosa Parks, Harriet Tubman and Frederick Douglass seemed to know that our country was in need of protea-like bolstering of diversity. They recognized that to live in such a way that would prove reminiscent of what the protea flower symbolizes (courage, diversity, change and transformation), would eventually help a society bloom in it's diversity, instead of blister.

Feathered Hope

"Once you choose hope, anything is possible." - Christopher Reeves
